The Australian Export Awards comprises a two-tier process:

• First, a State and Territory export award program in the form of the ACT Chief Minister's Export Awards
• Second, state winners then progress as national finalists and are benchmarked against their peers across the rest of Australia, with winners receiving national recognition.
