Entrepreneur Development Fund (EDF)

What is the Entrepreneur Development Fund?

The Entrepreneur Development Fund (EDF) is a pilot program funded by the ACT Government, Lighthouse Business Innovation Centre Limited and Epicorp Limited. EDF is designed to facilitate the development of key individuals in high-growth potential businesses in the ACT through skills and knowledge transfer. The pilot program will run from 1 July 2011 through to 31 December 2012 unless funding is expended earlier. For more information and examples of eligible projects see EDF Program Structure.

EDF Selection Process

You must be an established business based in the ACT in order to be eligible to apply for support under EDF.  The project to be funded must be clearly identifiable and the key person willing and able to dedicate themselves to the project in order to complete it within the nominated timeframe. For more information on the selection process see EDF Assessment Criteria.

Applications may be lodged at any time.  The EDF Selection Panel will meet every 6 weeks, with the first meeting scheduled for 8 August 2011, however this timeline may vary based on the number of applications received. In order to lodge an application you must first contact Lighthouse on
6163 8301 to discuss the eligibility of your proposed project.

The Entrepreneur Development Fund is administered by Lighthouse on behalf of the ACT Government and Epicorp. All three partners will be involved in the selection of successful applicants.
